Aeroquip Credit Union has always strived to serve its members needs. We understand that unforeseen expenses sometimes occur, and that you may not have the funds in your credit union account to cover them. That is why you should “opt-in”. What does “opting-in” mean for you? It means that you will still have the ability to overdraw your accounts when you need to. Without “opting-in”, the funds may not be available to you anymore. Aeroquip Credit Union wants to be sure that you have the ability to access cash when you have emergencies and need it the most.
However, effective August 15, 2010, we may not be able to authorize and pay overdrafts for your ATM and everyday debit card transactions unless you ask us to.
If you would like us to continue to cover your ATM and debit card overdrafts, please review the information on the following link: What You Need to Know about Overdrafts and Overdraft Fees. We ask that you print out the form and return it to the credit union. Aeroquip Credit Union has mailed letters with the information and an “opt-in” form to its members. It is important that we receive your signed “opt-in” form by August 15th or we may have to stop paying your ATM and debit card overdrafts.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact the credit union at 800-782-2891, or visit a branch office to learn more about the overdraft services available to you.
